Is this a subscription?
No. Conduital is a one-time purchase. You buy it, you own it. No recurring fees, no "your trial is expiring" emails. Future updates within your major version are included.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
No. Conduital is local-first. Your projects, tasks, and notes live as markdown files on your computer. You can sync them however you like — Dropbox, iCloud, Git — but Conduital never uploads your data to our servers.
How does the AI work?
Conduital connects to OpenAI-compatible APIs using your own API key. The AI features help you break through blocks, generate next actions, and make decisions — but they're entirely optional. The core productivity system works fully offline without any AI connection.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The free tier includes the core dashboard, inbox, and project management features. Paid tiers unlock GTD workflows, advanced AI assistance, and the full Horizons of Focus system.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or later. No internet connection required for core features. AI features need a network connection and an OpenAI-compatible API key. A Mac version is planned for Q3 2026.
Can I use my own AI provider?
Yes. Conduital works with any OpenAI-compatible API — including local models via Ollama or LM Studio. You're not locked into any single provider.
What happens to my data if I stop using Conduital?
Nothing changes. Your data is standard markdown files that you own. Open them in any text editor, Obsidian, VS Code, or any other markdown-compatible tool. There's no proprietary format and no export step needed.
